HOMELESS COLLEGE STUDENT NEEDS LAPTOP

If you know of anyone in the West Los Angeles Area with a laptop they are not using - one with wireless capability preferably- please contact us. We have a college student in need of one. This student is taking 7 classes and has above a 3.0 GPA.

If you would just like to contribute, her email/paypal address is adinaberger@rock.com .

She also welcomes any LEGAL job offers. She used her grant money for books, and a gym membership (this allows for a daily shower) and came up short for a laptop she'd hoped to use. She takes a number of her classes online. Since the college library is open during a limited number of hours and days - this limits her ability to study. She'd like to get all A's this semester, and is sure that a laptop would be the answer.

*If you are homeless and in need of community support of some kind, please post here. Hopefully we will get enough of the right kind of traffic, and everyone will get the kind of help they need.

Good Luck Everyone!

And, Thank You For Helping Everyone!

Did you ever wonder why homeless people don't just GET A JOB?

I'm sure it has never occurred to you that most of them have had a number of jobs. It's very difficult for them to keep their jobs when city officials make it illegal for them to exist. When it's illegal for a person to wash in most public places ( including restrooms), sleep day or night anyplace public, and obviously "private property" is off limits, how can anyone reasonably expect a homeless person to keep his or her job?
